This is our Concern Spring Run
team after we crossed the finish line. I definitely smiled like that for the entire race, even when I started to wonder if running four miles on pavement as my first post-hip surgery workout may have been unwise. It was fun because I was with people I love in a beautiful place on a sunny day, for sure. But knowing an actual finish line was ahead may also have had something to do with it. Perpetual works in progress and evolution – be it a start-up or a personal project – seem to have dominated my life. Maybe I need to build more finish lines into the mix.
Or maybe I should just run these races once a quarter. We’ll see.
