Box Truck Temple

Unscene party, High Street

I’m doing the coolest project this weekend, led by my amazing friend Annie Arthur. She calls it Box Truck Temple.

We’ll have a meditation space in a box truck, beautifully decorated and open to all. Annie is going to drive it all over Manhattan and Brooklyn, park it, and see who wanders in. (Should get interesting when she parks outside the Whitney and outside a bar in the Meatpacking District on Saturday night.) There will also be a wailing wall-esque area for leaving and taking written intentions.

This is not about religion: It’s about spirituality being accessible to anyone (yes, even atheists), anywhere – even in the back of a box truck. Follow @boxtrucktemple on Twitter for live location details and see you this weekend!
