Jackie Danicki is a professor of English at Florida International University (FIU) and a professional essay writer at WriteMyEssays. She has been teaching for over ten years, and in that time, she has taught courses ranging from composition to literature. As a result, her classes tend to be writing- or reading-intensive. Her goal in every lesson is to create an environment in which students feel comfortable enough to express their ideas in a way that will benefit them academically.

Jackie Danicki is originally from Michigan. She earned her bachelor's degree in English with a concentration in creative writing at Florida State University (FSU). She went on to do graduate work at the University of South Carolina (USC). Her first job out of college was as an instructor at USC, where she taught composition and creative writing for two years.

She also earned a master's degree in English from there. Jackie Danicki stayed on at USC after she graduated to become an assistant director of the University Writing Center, which is when she taught one of her most memorable classes: freshmen comp.

Jackie Danicki moved across the country to Vermont when she got a job teaching English at Bennington in 2006. Interestingly enough, before she accepted the job offer, Jackie Danicki had never heard of Bennington, but she quickly came to love the school and town. She has been there ever since and continues to teach both graduate and undergraduate students.

Jackie Danicki has won two awards for her teaching. In 2009, Jackie Danicki's work was rated "outstanding" by students, a distinction that is very meaningful to her since it represents a validation of her efforts as a teacher. Two years later, Jackie Danicki won an award from the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) for her role in creating a new course at Bennington. She has also been nominated for the Southeastern Conference Professor of the Year Award.

Professor Danicki believes that every student can succeed and goes out of her way to ensure they do. Her teaching philosophy is based on the idea that learning is a collaboration between the professor and the student, so she tries to get students actively involved in their education by encouraging them to write about what they know. In her own words: "I honestly believe that everybody has something unique to contribute."

She is most proud of her work in teaching freshmen, especially since they are often intimidated by college life and classes. She feels it is a rewarding experience when students who have been struggling with writing all their lives can start producing quality work.
